| The project delivers a work programme of Economic Development activity in the SRB6 area. It does through the appointment of an experienced property development professional within the OMBC Economic Development Division. The appointed officer: - identifies redevelopment opportunities in the employment zones within the SRB6 area;
- undertakes development appraisals;
- liaises with land and property owners and developers;
- co-ordinates and leads bidding processes for public sector funding from SRB6 and other sources, including NWDA and ERDF as appropriate;
- either facilitates or direct project manages selected redevelopment initiatives in the area.
Other senior staff in the Economic Development Division will continue to contribute to projects in the SRB6 area, and the division will provide line management and office accommodation from its own resources.
