The project's new and enthusiastic staff team aim to help local residents to get involved in decisions and activities that affect the local community. The project's premises, also provides a base in which residents can come together and make use of its meeting rooms, computers and office facilities. Chris Maxted, Project Manager, comments, “We want Hollinwood House to become a welcoming environment which brings the community together. There are many existing and emerging community groups scattered across the area. Many of these meet regularly at each others homes. The work they do is valuable but often restricted by lack of resources and support. The project provides groups like this with office facilities and on-hand support from a dedicated staff team.
