Building Bridges Youth Project Three Youth Workers and one Children’s Worker will implement project to improve understanding of young people between different backgrounds and communities by improving community cohesion. Family Support Sure Start type activities for children with families under nursery school age. Young People’s Officer SRB6 funded post, located in OMBC’s Youth Service to develop and manage the Young People’s strategy for the SRB6 area, service, facilitate the young people’s theme group and develop and assist in the management of services for young people. Inter Community Peer Support Project addressing racist attitudes amongst young people. Worked with youth trainees and peer educators for the programme. Youth Work Apprenticeship In response to a local shortage of qualified youth workers, this project funded four trainee posts to work alongside qualified youth workers and to attain appropriate qualifications. |
